What is psychodynamic Therapy?

Each of us is controlled by thoughts, feelings, reactions and other processes that operate outside of our consciousness. Psychodynamic therapy works to uncover and examine some of the motivations that lie behind the presenting issues to increase one’s understanding of oneself.

Therapy is non-judgemental and confidential. I do not pathologise sexuality or transgender.

How does psychodynamic therapy work?

Therapy is a talking cure to discuss patterns of behaviour, relationships and understanding how early experiences may continue to have a bearing in current life. I offer you the opportunity to set the pace and parameters for how deep we go. I don’t use complex jargon but work instead to help you voice your concerns in your own language.

How long does each session last?

Each session lasts approximately 50 minutes.
